Coder by day, nights, and weekends, but in my spare time I love to kick back & relax with friends. In the summer you'll find me hanging by the bonfire, swimming in the lake, and hiking up the mountains. In the winter you'll find me shredding down those mountains, and sitting on the couch nerding out with my favorite podcasts playing video games, or writing fiction.

Aussie Grill - React Version
Built mobile first & WCAG 2.1 compliant. I did all of the design and wrote all of the code, with colloboartion from the Aussie Grill marketing managers (Dawn O. & Claudia M). This site needed to be decomissioned because Bloomin' Brands could not support a CMS for Aussie Grill, which limited functionalities. This site served as the only site for Aussie Grill for ~2 years. TenderShack
Built with an extremely tight deadline, it was a quick response to a rapidly changing environment during the pandemic. The initial website is still live today, it was built with Bootstrap 4, SASS, & JS. It is WCAG 2.1 compliant.

Utilizing React.js hooks & Material UI to fetch data from a RESTful API, and populate an incredibly ugly UI.
HTML Portfolio

Website Accessibility
ADA complaince not only broadens a companies target market, it creates a much BETTER UX for everyone! Whether that be screen reader accessibility, keyboard navigation, proper page headings, or color contrast, accessibility is a fundamental part of web development that is only growing in importance.
On an awkard note, this website was created using a react template that I purchased, and is NOT WCAG accessible. My main website & my projects in my portoflio are.
UI Development
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SASS, React.js, & Git. Other responsibilities included creating dev builds & testing code, creating QA/Prod change requests, participating in PR reviews. Experince with other basic dev tools - Visual Studio, Visual Code, Azure, SQL Server (very basic experience), XML/XSLT (very basic).

I don't consider myself a designer but I've designed several websites for Bloomin' Brands out of neccesity. Including Aussie Grill & Tendershack. I've had input into other major sites - Outback, Carrabbas, Dine Rewards and Bonefish Grill.
